Are The Cowboys Better Off With Romo

Do the Dallas Cowboys have a better shot to make it to and be successful in the post season with Tony Romo starting? Forget about any long term gains or how they may be better off in 2007 because of giving Romo some experience now. They currently set 3-3 and are far from out of the playoff picture.

If you are Bill Parcells, are you giving up the chance in 2006 by starting Romo over Bledsoe for the rest of the year. I say your best shot of making the playoffs is with Bledsoe.

Cowboy fans, let me hear what you think. A good friend of ours over at NFL Addicts is discussing this issue as well and you should see what they are saying.

Grant Hill Healthy and Ready for the NBA Season

Filed under: NBA, Orlando Magic — rob at 11:13 am on Tuesday, October 10, 2006

Isn’t it only fitting. As the Orlando Magic head in to the 2006-2007 preseason opener, Grant Hill is healthy and ready to contribute, but he might be fighting alone as six other Orlando Magic players, three projected as starters, will not be in the lineup.

With just 11 healthy bodies, the Magic open their exhibition season on the road tonight against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Small forwards Hedo Turkoglu and Trevor Ariza were the latest to go down. Turkoglu is out at least another three days as doctors test his blood in hopes of finding out what has caused his fever to spike repeatedly the past week. Ariza bruised a bone in a foot during Saturday’s intrasquad scrimmage and didn’t practice Monday while undergoing tests.

The Magic also will be without Jameer Nelson (concussion), Tony Battie (sore knee), J.J. Redick (plantar fascia) and Carlos Arroyo (strained oblique muscle) against the Bobcats.

Do not be concerned Grant. I am sure that prior to the regular season you and your teammates will be back together, hopefully not in the training room.
